Privacy Policy

The privacy of our users and customers is very important to us. We take great care to maintain and protect all of our data.

Cookies

We use cookies to allow automatic login and to track users by screen name as they ask questions using a My[Q]Box. We do not store personal data in cookies nor do we store order information in cookies.

Real Names and Email Addresses

We collect email addresses and optionally real names and phone numbers associated with screen names to allow access to our system. Real names are required to be an expert and teach the system, but are not required to simply ask questions. Phone numbers are only required to give phone based answers or to confirm the identity of an administrator. 

Users may optionally request answers via email. When this is done, the screen name of the user is shared with the teachers who view the submitted question, but the email address is not exposed. When a teacher answers a question, our system accesses the email address required to send the email without exposing it to the expert, or any 3rd party beyond those in the path of email delivery.

Credit Card Information

We store all credit card and other data on secure servers protected by a firewall. We encrypt credit card numbers with a strong proprietary encryption scheme. We collect detailed personal information from customers to support the processing of payments and for security of such accounts.

Sharing of Information

We do not share the information we gather with anyone with the exception of reports that show usage and for the administration of security. We do not currently share or sell our customer information with any third parties. 

We reserve the right to maintain all information as a company asset that may be leveraged in the future as ordered by the management.
